Save the Date: AmeriGEOSS Week 2018
6 - 10 August, 2018
São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil

What is AmeriGEOSS? AmeriGEOSS is a framework that seeks to promote collaboration and coordination among the GEO members in the American continent, "to realize a future wherein decisions and actions, for the benefit of the region, are informed by coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations and information". The initiative focuses its efforts in the four Societal Benefit Areas (SBAs) selected and prioritized by the Americas Caucus country-members: agriculture, Disaster Risk Reduction; water and biodiversity, and ecosystem monitoring.

Why attend? This is a great opportunity to share knowledge and connect with others from the GEO community in the Americas. Participants are invited to attend plenary sessions, poster  sessions, and training courses in the AmeriGEOSS priority areas.

Where? The event will take place at INPE´s headquarters in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil.
